🌱 Planting Seeds: Breathwork & Wellness for Children

Children are naturally in tune with their bodies and emotions — but the world can sometimes pull them away from that connection. These workshops are playful, heart-centered spaces that help kids stay grounded in their own wisdom.

Using age-appropriate breathwork, mindful movement, and creative expression, I help children explore their feelings, manage big emotions, and build emotional resilience. We might roar like lions to let out anger, trace a breathing rainbow to calm the mind, or practice simple body awareness through games and stories.

As both a teacher and a parent, I know the importance of creating a safe, nurturing space where kids feel seen, supported, and free to be themselves.

🎨 Building Tools That Last

Our sessions focus on giving children skills they can carry into their everyday lives — at school, at home, or on the playground. They learn how to self-regulate, how to ask for support, and how to recognize what their body and feelings are trying to say.

These early experiences help shape confident, compassionate young people who trust themselves. The breath becomes a friend they can always turn to.

🌿Empowering Teens to Come Home to Themselves

The teen years are a powerful and often overwhelming stage of life. Between academic pressure, social dynamics, changing identities, and a rapidly shifting inner world, it’s easy for teens to feel lost, anxious, or disconnected. These workshops create a grounded, nonjudgmental space where teens can pause, breathe, and reconnect with themselves in a real and meaningful way.

Rather than offering quick fixes or surface-level advice, Zakia guides teens inward — helping them explore breath-based practices, somatic awareness, and emotional tools that support them in managing stress, regulating their nervous systems, and building inner trust.

Each session may include conscious breathing, mindful movement, guided journaling, emotional check-ins, or visualization — all tailored to meet teens where they are. The goal is to support self-awareness without pressure, offering techniques that are both practical and soulful. Whether they’re dealing with anxiety, low self-esteem, or just the chaos of growing up, teens leave with a deeper sense of self, agency, and resilience.

🔑 Tools for Resilience, Growth & Connection

Beyond breathwork, teens learn to identify emotional patterns, set boundaries, and build healthy coping skills they can use in school, friendships, and family life. The goal isn’t to “fix” them — it’s to remind them of their own strength and inner knowing.

Whether navigating stress, social anxiety, or simply needing a space to be themselves, these sessions help teens feel more grounded, empowered, and connected — to their breath, their bodies, and their path forward.
